In a video message she shared with his followers, her added that she was grateful for being invited to Oxford: "As a young person who wants to continue to gain knowledge, it was an honor to say something."
She said, "I had the opportunity to share with the members of this family many lessons about the history of Rwandans of the past 30 years." She kept coming back to the point where she wondered how she should make the most of the opportunity she had received.
In her own way, she said, "When I received the invitation, I was happy to be able to find a place like this to speak, but I also had the problem of what to convey to them and how I should do it." Mutesi Jolly came back to the amazing story of how she was asked to come back in regards to fashion but she requested that she at least come back to the topic that he considers should be the return of the future of Africa.
She explains the reason for returning to this topic from the fact that in 2050 due to the fact that Africans continue to grow, they will make up a quarter of the world's population and therefore they should be aware of such history.
She says that knowing the history is in order to be united and their priority is to develop them rather than what separates them.
Mutesi Jolly on the first day of the Conference was happy to meet Raila Odinga who has campaigned for the 5th time to lead Kenya.
