Parents of children supported by the Sherrie Silver Foundation are happy to welcome their children back from performing in Europe at an event hosted by the United Nations Department of Health.

On May 29, 2024, some of the children helped by this organization returned to Rwanda after attending the "Walk to the Talk" event held in Europe.

The children are assisted by Sherrie Silver, the famous female choreographer for Childish Gambino's 'This is America', which won her an award at the MTV Awards.

Their families were going to receive them at the airport in Kanombe since it was the first time they had traveled outside the country.

In an interview with The Infotainment, Nyiramana Diane, one of the parents of these children, expressed that it is good to see someone like Sherrie Silver who is training the children in their talents and values.

In his way, she said, "Since these children arrived in this family, we have seen many changes, which help us to improve their education."

Returning to the day he visited his son at the Sherrie Silver Foundation, he said, "They teach them the values of our country, they teach them to love their country, and the child knows what is wrong and what is wrong."

She came back to the fact that children can be helped to find a way to live and learn, and their families can get something out of it.

This is also confirmed by Sherrie Silver, who says that when children learn, they gain knowledge, but they also start spending money, giving the example of one of the children who left Switzerland who said that he immediately bought his mother a television.
